Our Story

Built from the ground up,
one app at a time.

Black Fossils started as a personal mission: to build mobile apps the right way. Not fast and fragile, but thoughtful and durable. The kind of software that handles edge cases gracefully, scales without drama, and feels polished to the user in ways they can't quite articulate but definitely notice.

Over the years, that mission became a studio. We started shipping our own products, then took on client work — and quickly realised that the same engineering rigour we applied to our own apps translated directly into better outcomes for clients too.

Today, Black Fossils operates as a lean, focused unit. No bloated teams, no account managers in the middle. You work directly with the engineers who build your product — and that makes all the difference.

We'd rather take an extra day and ship something we're proud of than rush and create technical debt someone else has to pay for later. Quality is the only shortcut that actually works.

SSL pinning, Keychain storage, token management, input validation — security isn't a feature we add at the end. It's baked into the architecture from day one.

    We define the project structure, data models, API contracts, and folder conventions — so development is fast, clean, and consistent from day one.

  3. Build & Iterate

    Incremental delivery in short cycles. You see real progress regularly, can give feedback early, and nothing gets built in the dark for weeks.

  4. QA & Polish

    Unit tests, edge case testing, device compatibility checks, and performance profiling. We don't ship if we wouldn't use it ourselves.

  5. Deploy & Handoff

    App Store submission, release notes, and a clean handoff with full documentation. We make sure you own everything — code, keys, accounts.

Passionate about clean architecture, thoughtful API design, and shipping products that actually work in the real world. Black Fossils is the studio I always wanted to work at — so I built it.
